The architect, not a bench.
Ionosof is a Europe-based independent Atlassian consultancy serving enterprise clients across Europe and the United States. Deliberately small: clients get the architect, not a delivery bench.
A specialist practice, built around one discipline.
Ionosof designs and delivers Jira Service Management, Atlassian Assets (formerly Insight) and CMDB/ITAM platforms for global enterprises — including replatforming onto Atlassian from ServiceNow, FreshService, Monday.com and Server/Data Center estates, post-acquisition ITSM platform transition, and configuration governance aligned to DORA, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS and NIST.
Clients call at forcing moments: a regulator asks for evidence, an acquirer asks what it's buying, a renewal forces a platform decision, or an AI initiative discovers the configuration data is fiction. The work is making sure the answer holds — enterprise configuration truth, built on Atlassian.
The name joins ion — charged, in motion — with sofía — wisdom. Technology and judgement, in one word.
Founder
Victor Parera — Atlassian Solution Architect & Consultant · Jira Service Management, Assets & CMDB
Most enterprises don't actually know what they run. The moment that stops being affordable is the moment they call Victor Parera.
Victor is specialised in Jira Service Management, Atlassian Assets and the discipline underneath both: configuration and asset management built to be trusted — by operations teams, by auditors, and increasingly by AI. Across 8+ years — 6+ years in senior consulting and architecture roles — he has built, redesigned or architected 5+ enterprise CMDB platforms and architected configuration environments up to an EU institution environment exceeding 21 million CIs; typical enterprise client estates have contained approximately 300,000 asset and configuration records.
Ionosof is the contracted party in every engagement, either directly or through a partner engaged to serve the end client: Eficode, Digitech, Proximus, SQLI, HAYS, Interex, TCS and European Recruitment among them. The architect is the same either way.
At a Swiss asset manager, the Assets CMDB Ionosof architected is formally defined as the source of truth, enabled six data-centre migrations, and underpins DORA evidence. That client went on to contract an Ionosof project manager alongside the architect to run the CMDB programme. Clients come back, and so do partners: a delivery platform re-engaged Ionosof in 2026 for a larger assignment across its group, and a betting and gaming client passed Ionosof on to its partner, which is where an aviation engagement came from.
He is fluent across Atlassian Assets, NetBox and ServiceNow CMDB — which is precisely what makes migrations into Atlassian safe. He delivers remotely for enterprise clients across Europe and the United States, in English and Spanish, on EU and US time zones.
How engagements run.
Every engagement is architect-led directly by Victor — from discovery and target-state design through governance, implementation oversight and handover. Not a delivery bench; not a senior pitch followed by a junior team. Where a programme needs more than an architect, Ionosof puts the role in place rather than the headcount: in one financial services programme that meant a project manager running the CMDB alongside the architect, with a planned exit once it was on rails. The practice spans five offers: CMDB & Assets architecture; ITSM replatforming onto Atlassian; CMDB health check & rescue; fractional Atlassian architecture; and post-acquisition ITSM platform transition.
